Arts, Sciences and Technology University in Lebanon is a private non-profit institution located in Lebanon that is primarily located in areas of Beirut (Badaro, Hadath, Kafaat) and also has a significant presence within the urban environment. The institution has officially been granted recognition and accredited by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The university's programs follow the educational model of the United States of America. All classes are taught in English, and will be on a semester system academic calendar. The institution promotes an inclusive culture of global citizenship, and has committed to making quality education available to a diverse group of students from the local area and throughout the Arab world. 

The institution began with a vision established by Dr. Amjad Al-Nabulsi who created a foundation for the university as the Computer and Educational College of Hotel Management and Technical Studies at Beirut-Makassed Center. The College was originally created as a vocational school, but in 1995, a group of dedicated scholars came together to develop a plan for an American-style university in Lebanon and in the Middle East - this process was formalized with the establishment of the university's legal status on August 7, 2000, by Presidential Decree Number 3585/2000 and was authorized as a university by the Lebanese government.
